The Taking of Zena Charbonne, is a newly commissioned work from the playwright, Stewart Ennis. A development period, in Autumn 2012, culminated in a 35 minute work-in-progress performance. Audience comments included:
'During 'Zena' I had the back of the neck shivers, the acid test for me of something that actually touches me and takes me to a new place - in this case the experience of being captive, bound, in thrall, possibly to a person as well as to a situation'.
Isobel Leckie, Educationalist
'I really enjoyed that. Intriguing. Great writing, well-staged, imaginative visuals, beautifully performed and directed. Well done all, and invite me to the opening night of the finished piece please!'
Rob Hoon - Manager, Out of the Blue Arts & Education Trust, Edinburgh

The Taking of Zena Charbonne will continue development into full production and will tour, throughout the UK, during September & October 2013. Click here for more information.
